Beijing Grand AgroChem Co., Ltd attended the 13th National Weed Science Conference

The 13th National WeedScience Conference was held in Guiyang from August 7th to 10th, 2017. The themeof the conference is diversity governance policy and herbicide reduction andsafe use. The conference was sponsored by the Institute of Plant Protection(IPP), Chinese Academy of Agriculture Science (CAAS) and undertaken by GuizhouAcademy of Agricultural Sciences, and more than 300 representatives engaged inweed research work attended the conference.

Weed science is an important branch of the plant protection subject. Farmland weed, especially the hard prevention of worst weed and the spreading of invasive alien weeds have a strong impact on the agricultural production. The representatives introduced the diversity governance policies for weed from the aspects of weed biological management, weed drug resistance, weed biological control, herbicide activity and safety and additives effect on herbicide, provided guidance for the agricultural production, contributed ideas for herbicide reduction and reach consensus on that adding synergist during weed prevention can improve the herbicide effect.
